What an eventful two days it has been! The City of Miami Pathways to Public Procurement Summit, hosted on October 19th and 20th at the scenic Jungle Island in Miami, has come to a successful conclusion. A heartfelt thank you to the City of Miami’s Procurement Department and all the amazing partners for putting up such an insightful gathering. As we sift through the wealth of insights, learnings, and experiences, it’s evident that the event was a resounding success.
The primary focus of the summit was to support the success of small, local, and minority businesses in government contracting. And the objective, I believe, has been more than achieved. The energy, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial spirit I witnessed over the two days event were truly remarkable.
I had also the privilege to moderate a session titled “You have a contract, Now What.” Joined by the brilliant minds of Abel Herrera and Rubin Sloan, we explored the challenging post-contractual scenarios, shedding light on the unspoken aspects of procurement.
