Lunacon Construction Group proudly completed the construction of the Surfside 96th Street Park and Municipal Community Center for the Town of Surfside delivering a vibrant, sustainable public space that serves residents of all ages. This project reflects our ongoing commitment to environmentally responsible construction and community-centered development.
At the heart of the project is a newly built municipal community center that earned LEED Silver certification, a testament to our dedication to green building practices. Adjacent to the center, we developed a LEED Sites certified recreational park, designed to offer a safe, engaging, and eco-friendly environment for families and visitors.
Our work included the installation of state-of-the-art playground equipment, site furnishings, shade structures, and secure fencing to promote comfort and safety. We also implemented advanced lighting solutions to enhance usability during evening hours, and installed an efficient irrigation system to support the park’s sustainable landscaping. Every detail—from material selection to final finishes—was designed with long-term resilience and environmental impact in mind.
This completed project showcases Lunacon’s ability to lead sustainable, large-scale municipal developments while creating lasting value for the communities we serve.
