Description:
The SOUTHCOM Outdoor Fitness Area Project was a Design/Build project contracted by the Army Corps of Engineers to construct two new commercially available shade structures with lighting. NEMA lighting features were distributed evenly throughout these beautiful shade structures. The concrete pads have high impact rubber floor covering throughout, which provides the lightning grounding protection. In addition, Lunacon constructed a 320 SF storage building with a rolling door, keyed lock and a steel galvanized louver for ventilation. The fitness area includes a three lane running track, a walkway that connects the two structures, and a new fire lane.
