This Project will provide stabilization of LC 14 blockhouse a National Historic Landmark (NIIL) listed and National Register of Historic Places (N RI IP) eligible structure. The scope of work will include corrosion control/painting on 4ea. periscopes. 2ca. air intake & exhaust openings and 2ca. compressor/condenser chases- feedthrough penetrations. Additional work wi ll includes repair of spa lied concrete cracks!fissures and painting for the blockhouse perimeter wall and viewing/roof landing and stairs. This scope of work is located at CCAFS and will not require permitting. The Contractor is responsible for monitoring of airborne particulates and proper removal, containment. testing, storage and labeling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. This site is considered a non secure area (escorts are not necessary) and work will be accomplished during the standard hours established in the contract.
